dKart Office is a fully integrated, digitally-based production environment aimed at management, production, maintenance and distribution of all types of marine cartographic products, including:

• Traditional paper charts (INT1, INT2, M4 and nation derivatives);

• Electronic Charts (ENCs, AML, etc.);

• Notices to Mariners ,Lists of Lights, Sailing Directions and other nautical publications

• On-line Data Services (charts, publications, catalogues on the Internet, automated NtM delivery, etc.)

dKart Office supports four major work stages:

• Electronic charts and publications production;

• Paper chart and publications production;

• Electronic charts and publications digital updating;

• Notices to Mariners compilation and publishing, paper charts and books updating basing on the updating of electronic analogues.

• dKart Office is based on the innovative Digital Hydrographic Office approach meeting specific of nautical publications production as well as IHO S-57 philosophy.

• While using dKart Office that hides all the techniques behind familiar procedures and terms there is no need for operator to have in-depth knowledge of the standards.

• dKart Office has powerful tools for testing the manufactured products, securing their  correspondence to the standards requirements.

dKart Office system has a modular structure, the configuration of which could be easily adopted for the specific targets of end users. The 'open architecture' approach used in developing allows building up of the system's performance capabilities by including additional modules that are naturally added to the 'digital hydrographic Office'. The system consists of specialized programs and databases, associated in a joint system by means of electronic communications.

dKart NtM Production System – The complete and fully integrated Notices to Mariners production system.

DATABASES

dKart Archive  is a system of centralized cartographic data storage, where data are stored at all stages of production, run beginning from the hydrographic surveys data to creation of ENC and digital updates.

dKart FODB is a hydrographic database used for centralised storage of scale-independent objects information ("enhanced NavAids database").

dKart  Catalogue is a host system of charts catalogues and nautical publications .

All components may be used either within the dKart Office or as standalone programs. The inner complexity of software is hidden from the customer by the user-friendly interface.
